Acclaimed composer Soon Hee Newbold introduces herself to the Westminster High School orchestra musicians. Newbold visited six Carroll County Public School high schools to engage with orchestra musicians and discuss her experiences in performing and composing as a professional musician. In addition to Westminster High School, Newbold also engaged orchestra musicians at Century, South Carroll, Manchester Valley, Liberty and Winters Mill high schools. This program was made possible by Maryland Centers for Creative Classrooms, administered by Arts Education in Maryland Schools, and supported by the Maryland State Department of Education.
