The Arts Education in Maryland Schools (AEMS) Alliance recognizes the critical role of parents as advocates and wishes to support their efforts to ensure high-quality opportunities for their children to learn in and through the arts. Parents should play a major role by being full partners in all decision-making affecting their children. Through this involvement, they can work to improve arts education for all children.
